Electrical Drawings
Our electrical designers will review your existing drawings and create new schematics that incorporate all upgrade work ensuring your machine is ready to be maintained for the next phase of its operational life.

Software
Upgraded operating and diagnostic interfaces significantly increases machine usability by minimising the time needed to identify stoppages and providing access to historical performance supporting proactive maintenance.

Integration
Modern controllers allow for greater system integration, simplifying machine complexity while enhancing the reliability, durability, and overall robustness of the control system. reducing the risk of operational disruptions.
Before
After

Faced with the failure of a servo with an integrated PLC, we modernised the control system and operating interface by replacing it with an S71200F CPU and CU250S position controller. This upgrade not only enhanced control and diagnostics for the machine but also future proofed the system for evolving operational requirements. The S71200F CPU added comprehensive safety compliance, with capabilities to monitor safety circuits and isolate remaining VFDs in line with industry standards.

As part of a new installation, we upgraded existing machinery to integrate with new equipment. This involved replacing outdated PLCs, field I/O, and safety hardware across several control cabinets with modern field I/O featuring failsafe cards, configured and programmed using Studio 5000. The upgrade significantly reduced the complexity of hardwired safety systems, eliminating nearly half of the physical wiring and providing a cleaner, more streamlined control setup. With enhanced diagnostics, improved safety compliance, and simplified maintenance, this modernised system is now more reliable and efficient, offering future ready performance with greater operational performance.
