Auger Fillers

Our Auger fillers offer flexible filling speeds, typically ranging from 30 to over 60 fills per minute, depending on the product type, fill volume, and accuracy requirements. Volumetric auger filling generally achieves higher speeds, as it uses pre-set rotations to fill without real time adjustments. Gravimetric (weight-based) filling, which provides precise weight accuracy, may operate at slightly lower speeds but ensures each fill meets exact specifications. This adaptability in speed makes auger fillers suitable for both high volume production and applications requiring higher levels of accuracy.

Powder auger filling head

Integrated

We supply auger filling heads that integrate with both new and existing production lines, allowing for efficient, precise, and adaptable filling solutions. Our auger filling heads are compatible with a wide range of packaging machinery, making them a versatile choice for upgrading or expanding your current operations.

Semi Automatic Powder Auger Filler

Semi Automatic

Our stand up auger filling stations are ideal for facilities needing a dedicated, self contained solution for accurate dispensing of powders, granules, and other dry products. With user friendly controls and a compact footprint, these stations are perfect for low throughput operations or production lines with high product diversity.

Auger Powder filling line for jars

Fully Automatic

Pot filling auger systems with integrated conveyors are perfect for high speed filling applications involving powders and granules. With built in product settling capabilities, these systems offer an excellent solution for businesses aiming to increase production output and ensure consistent fills.

Auger Filling Options
An auger filler operates in two main ways, depending on the product requirements and desired level of precision: volumetric filling and gravimetric filling.

  • Volumetric Filling: In volumetric filling, the auger rotates to dispense a set volume of product with each turn, determined by the auger’s pitch and the number of rotations. This method is ideal for free flowing powders or granules where high precision is not critical, such as spices, flour, or grains. Volumetric filling offers consistent fill volumes and is typically faster, making it ideal for high speed production.

  • Gravimetric Filling: In gravimetric filling, the auger filler monitors a scale to weigh the amount of product dispensed, stopping the auger when the target weight is reached. This approach provides high accuracy, especially important for applications requiring exact weights, such as pharmaceuticals or premium food products. Gravimetric filling may be slightly slower than volumetric but ensures each package meets precise weight specifications.

Product Types

Auger fillers are highly versatile and suitable for handling a wide range of products, particularly dry, powdered, and granular materials. Common types of products that can be used with an auger filler include:

  • Powders: Ideal for fine powders such as flour, cocoa powder, protein powders, spices, baking mixes, and powdered milk.

  • Granules: Suitable for small granulated items like sugar, salt, coffee granules, and ground spices.

  • Non Free Flowing Products: Effective for non-free-flowing or sticky materials like ground coffee, dehydrated milk, or fine herbs, where precise control prevents clogging.

User Friendly
Designed for ease of use, our auger fillers feature intuitive, user friendly touch screens. This interface provides clear visual feedback, straightforward control over filling parameters, and access to detailed data analysis, enabling your staff to efficiently manage and optimize the filling process with ease.

Auger Filler Repairs

We offer refurbishment services for auger fillers that, while mechanically sound, have become electrically obsolete. Many older machines suffer from outdated control components, limiting performance and compliance. We retrofit machinery breathing new life into machines by upgrading the electrical systems with modern equivalents. We support Siemens, Rockwell, Omron, and Mitsubishi hardware, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of industry standards and preferences.

Our refurbishments don’t just replace old for new, they improve safety and machine control opening up a host of new functionality. We introduce user friendly interfaces, format memory for different product types, expanded control, improved statistics and diagnostics, making the equipment far more flexible and efficient. The result is a machine that performs to modern standards without the cost and lead time of full replacement.
