At Rise Automation, we specialise in delivering advanced robotic solutions designed to tackle complex automation challenges. Our vision-guided depalletising systems combine intelligent 3D vision with robotics, allowing robots to identify and handle items directly from mixed or irregular pallets without the need for fixed patterns. This not only improves efficiency but also removes the limitations of traditional approaches, making the process faster, more flexible, and easier to integrate into existing processes.

Vision Guided depalletising with Kawasaki Robotics

Our systems use high-resolution 3D vision cameras to scan pallets using a matrix of lasers, generating accurate 3D profile of  the pick area. This data is then processed to determine the best pick position to guide the robot’s movements accordingly. Whether dealing with overlapping sacks, awkward orientations, or inconsistent stacking, we deploy technology to ensure reliable performance. Rise Automation’s tailored solutions are built to meet the specific needs of your processes, helping you increase throughput, reduce manual handling, and futureproof your operation.

Sack EOAT

Bespoke end-of-arm tooling (EOAT) for handling soft sacks containing materials like powders, granules, or animal feed. Featuring hardened spikes that puncture the surface and rotate to grip the material firmly, enabling the robot to lift and manipulate sacks.

Decanting Hoppers

We design and manufacture bespoke hygienic decanting hoppers, tailored for handling a variety of sack and bag materials in clean environments. Each hopper can be equipped with slitting mechanisms, engineered to suit different packaging types including paper, plastic and woven materials.

Return on Investment

Our solutions represent a smart, strategic investment with a rapid return. Over the long term, they deliver significant benefits including reduced labour costs, increased throughput, and greater operational reliability, making them an ideal choice for companies looking to futureproof their processes and stay ahead in a competitive market.

Small Footprint

One of the key advantages of vision-guided robots is their compact footprint, allowing them to be integrated into existing manual processes without the need for major layout changes. These systems can be designed to work within tight spaces, fitting alongside current equipment and workflows.

Our focus is on practicality. Each system is designed with your process in mind, compact, self-contained, and capable of fitting into existing production environments with minimal disruption. This means you can automate with minimal reconfiguration or downtime. Whether retrofitting into a current line or planning a new installation, our approach ensures a well implemented solution that delivers results from day one.

Vision Guided depalletising with Kawasaki Robotics

Vision-Guided Depalletising
Uses 3D vision to identify and pick items from mixed or unstructured pallets, ideal for warehouses and distribution centres handling variable loads.

Vision-Guided Palletising
Ensures accurate placement of products onto pallets by adjusting for inconsistencies in position, orientation, or size, enhancing reliability in dynamic environments.

Mixed Product Handling
Capable of recognising and sorting different products on the same line or pallet using vision-based identification, reducing sorting time and complexity.

Random Order Picking
Enables robots to pick items in random positions or orientations without pre-programmed locations, ideal for e-commerce or fulfilment operations.

Box Orientation Correction
Automatically detects misaligned or tilted boxes and adjusts robot movements accordingly, ensuring consistent pallet quality and reducing product damage.

Sack Recognition and Handling
Identifies flexible or irregular sack shapes for precise picking and placement, particularly useful in agriculture, chemicals, and food sectors.

Bin Picking
Uses 3D vision to detect and retrieve items from deep bins or containers, reducing the need for manual intervention in bulk handling operations.

Quality Verification
Performs visual checks for defects, mislabelling, or incorrect stacking during handling, helping to maintain quality assurance standards.

Compact Cell Integration
Allows robots to be installed in confined spaces using vision to guide precise movements, suitable for retrofitting into manual stations.

Dynamic Product Tracking
Tracks products in motion and adjusts picking trajectories in real time, ideal for fast-moving conveyors or variable-speed lines.

Barcode and Label Detection
Reads product labels or barcodes as part of the vision system, enabling sorting or routing decisions based on SKU or destination.

Height and Load Detection
Monitors pallet height or load conditions using vision, allowing the robot to adjust its pick strategy for stability and safety.
