New Robots

Kawasaki Robot, Programming, Automation, Industrial Automation, Controls, Allen Bradley, PLC

Investing in new robots brings significant benefits, including increased efficiency and the ability to handle more complex tasks with greater accuracy and speed. Modern robots are built with advanced safety features, making them safer for operators to work alongside.

New robots also offer improved energy efficiency, reducing operational costs, and come with the latest technology that supports real time data monitoring and analytics. With their extended lifespan and reliability, new robots provide a future proofed solution that adapts to evolving production demands, ultimately boosting your competitive edge.

Refurbished Robots

Refurbished robots offers substantial benefits, particularly in terms of cost savings, while still delivering reliable performance and productivity. Refurbished robots are a cost effective alternative to new models, providing nearly all the functionality at a fraction of the price.

These robots are thoroughly inspected, repaired, and tested to ensure they function as per their original specification, making them dependable additions to any production line. Refurbished robots are also an ideal choice for companies seeking to scale up quickly or test new applications without the upfront costs associated with new equipment.

Robot Upgrade

Harsh operating environments can sometimes wear down robots and EAOTs, even when the rest of the machinery remains in good, usable condition. We assess your existing setup to find the most cost effective and safe solution to keep your equipment running efficiently for the long term.

Upgrading robots and EAOTs can be an effective way to  extend the life of your machinery, allowing you to benefit from modern technology without the cost of full replacement. Our tailored upgrades focus on improving durability ensuring your machinery can continue to meet production demands reliably and sustainably well into the future.

Kawasaki Robot

Sack Palletising

Working with harsh chemicals in cold and damp environments can often lead to accelerated failure of automated equipment. After years of service a 6 axis KUKA was retired and replaced with a 4 axis high speed Kawasaki palletiser, providing a cost effective upgrade to prolong the life of the existing  machinery and cater for future increased production capacity.

ABB Robot

Bucket Palletising

We were tasked with developing a solution to palletise a diverse range of bucket types and sizes, including both round and rectangular shapes, with or without handles, and a 100kg variant. Our solution addressed all these requirements by employing two end of arm tools (EOATs) with automatic tool changeover, allowing fast change over between bucket variants. The primary goals of this automation project were to minimise manual handling and boost production capacity, supporting the client’s ambitions for future growth.

Pick & Place

We delivered a complete turnkey solution for weighing, filling, capping, labelling, and case packing tubs of sweetener tablets. Our approach utilised a Kawasaki RS-005L robot to pick and place six complete tubs at a time into one of two gravity fed chutes. The tubs were then released into the case packer flights in alternating order, creating a straightforward yet highly effective system for efficient and consistent case packing.

7th Axis

We delivered a turnkey solution for palletising aluminium bales across four compactor lines. Central to this solution was the incorporation of a 7th axis linear rail extending the reach of a Kawasaki robot, enabling it to palletise at two separate palletising stations. By leveraging the additional axis, we delivered a robust and scalable palletising solution with capacity for future production growth.

Tube Palletising

Tasked with palletising tubes into trays, utilising a Kawasaki CP180 we developed a bespoke three finger EAOT capable of horizontally picking and vertically placing each roll. To ensure reliability and consistency, the system measured the diameter of each tube, allowing for pick offsets and automatic rejection of any out of specification rolls. This setup provided a reliable and robust solution for palletising and handling tubes.

Kuka Robot Palletiser

Sack Palletising

To meet increased demand and support a product upgrade from paper to plastic bags, we delivered an end of line turnkey solution. This system included quality checking, palletising, and automatic rejection of any out of specification products. With the addition of automatic pallet destacking, the solution ensured an efficient workflow from start to finish.
